Algorithmic Trading Developer

Join an expanding developer team that will enhance the U.S. equities trading platform. As a developer, you will offer your highly rated Asian Algos skills to enable the Algos team in the U.S market. You'll build the framework that supports theses Algos as well as understand and enhance the existing suite of Algos. Your experience in coding, analytics and mathematical skills will leverage our IP to create a unique product in the US.

You'll build the framework that supports theses Algos as well as understand and enhance the existing suite of Algos.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Be part of the Global Algorithmic Development team with focus on US Equities.
  • Develop functional and technical understanding of the existing Algos in use for Asia
  • Delivery focused, innovative in defining solutions and implementing them to completion.
  • Interface with business and quants directly on projects to document and capture ideas. Work with the rest of the team to transform these ideas into a spec for the Algo.
  • Algo Development (C#) includes framework development where required
  • Agile development – TDD / Unit tests, Code Reviews.
  • Involve other teams (QA/Compliance/Middle Office/Support/) as and when required
  • Provide Level 2 support for production systems
Experience Required:
  • Understanding of the US equities markets and microstructure.
  • Hands on development experience with main responsibility of at least one core component
  • Knowledge of C# server side development or Java experience but willing to work in C#
  • KDB experience / Big data / Machine learning is desired but not a must
  • Agile methodology
