Investment Banking client is seeking a Project Manager (PMO) for the GBT Banking & Payment Services department. The role reports to the Portfolio Manager for the Banking & Payment Services, GBT Architecture and GBT QA departments. Banking & Payments is a very dynamic global department with a significant book of work in the cash management and payments space. 

This Project Manager would be responsible for gathering weekly executive-level program status summaries that will be presented to EDs/MDs, financial reporting, contribute to strategic roadmaps for feature sets and implementation, provide consulting-like support on various ad-hoc projects. This is a fast-paced team and the candidate must be able to maintain a level head and accuracy in the face of challenges and high pressure deadlines for senior management. The candidate should be entrepreneurial in nature and act like an owner to help drive change using superior problem solving skills. 

Skills: 
Advanced excel skills, i.e. pivot tables, v-look ups, for reporting. Macros, SQL Queries VBA would be a plus not a must The main focus of the role will be in reporting; pulling data, and putting data into presentations. 

They will be working with the business, the application dev, and QA team. This is a data intensive role due the reporting aspect, and basic SQL queries to extract data Financial experience would be a plus.

This person will be liaising with the development team and the Business i.e. portfolio managers within Wealth Management, and must have a very solid comprehension of the SDLC Prior experience as a PM/BA for technology projects is a must 3-8 years of experience

Candidate should be able to jump into whatever role needs to be filled at the moment, whether that is running a project or acting as a BA

Candidate does not need to be an expert in any one financial domain or technology, but should have some knowledge, and be willing to add to that knowledge

This is a highly visible position, which will require daily interaction with EDs and COOs and reports going to MDs
