Looking for an Administrator to identify, research, recommend, and implement solutions and applications which support our clients' current and future business plans and objectives.  Provides support services to internal personnel for complex, technical and configuration issues related to production applications.  Ensures effective use of existing applications and delivers new solutions on time and with high quality.  Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business and end user needs to ensure their alignment with overall organizational strategies.  Manages and maintains the SharePoint farms. Provides input to the SharePoint and ECM Solutions Managers regarding issues, concerns and best practices.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Systems, Business Management or other related field or the equivalent of at least 2 years' experience in Information Technologies, Financial Services, Project Management or another related area.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and network concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of PC compatible hardware and software configurations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks, both long and short term, simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment.
  • Ability to identify deficient processes/procedures and assist in the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including possible evening and weekend hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external staff and management.
Job Duties:
  • Support existing business applications
    • Provides customer service to our client's employees by answering technical and functional questions regarding applications used by the various business units.
    • Assists staff with troubleshooting complex technical issues experienced by external customers using a proprietary application.
    • Provides system support and maintains uptime as defined within the IT acceptable standards.
    • Performs application maintenance, e.g. system parameters, user permissions, etc.
  • Serve as the SharePoint Administrator
    • Addresses production issues experienced by SharePoint users
    • Maintain the SharePoint farms infrastructure (Dev, Test, Production & DR)
    • Promotes changes made in SharePoint Dev (or Test) environments to Production
    • Conducts annual DR test
    • Performs annual user review 
  • Support assigned business units
    • Serves as an IT liaison with Business Units by serving as the point of contact for Business Unit regarding new requests related to applications.
    • Performs business analyst functions including but not limited to:
    • Defining requirements
    • Act as a quality assurance testing resource.
    • Contribute to the overall success of our client and their IT Department
