Our Client is seeking an Information Security Associate to join the Firm's Information Security team. This individual's primary day to day responsibility will be in the reduction of security risks through management of the Firm's user entitlement program. In particular, this individual will assist in the execution and maturation of our entitlement review processes, interface with the Business Units to ensure reviews are being conducted properly, and interface with the Service Desk to ensure outdated or erroneous entitlements are managed appropriately. This position is located in our Chicago office.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assist in the management of the Firm's entitlement review process.
Negotiate entitlement data requirements with both internal and external partners.
Configure the entitlement review application for new files and troubleshoot errors with existing files.
Interact with vendors, ensuring on-time delivery of entitlement files.
Manage the mapping of users to Active Directory for exception reporting requirements.
Interface with the Service Desk to ensure terminations are managed in a timely fashion.
Configure GUI entitlement review requirements and interface with business units on review requirements.
Develop requirements and interface with the .net development team on improvements to the entitlement review GUI.
  • Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Project management certification(s) (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-SP) preferred or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
Experience with many technologies, applications and processes with a particular focus on their capabilities and limitations.
Working knowledge of most IT functions and the resources available to deliver projects, programs or manage portfolios.
Excellent organizational skills and superior problem solving ability.
Good interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
