Credit Middle Office Associate

Administrative Agency Function:
Monitoring and following up of reporting deadlines including covenant compliance , financials, valuations and any other requirements stipulated by loan documentation
Tracking of waiver/amendment approvals, seeking and following up on all or majority lender consents
Management of debt domain sites including document distribution, lender access and file organization
Main point of contact for all loan parties including the lending group, legal counsel, Borrowers and the insurance department
Review and provide comments to draft loan documentation from the Agency perspective
Gathering, reviewing and processing all of the client opening documentation including: KYC, Admin details and Tax forms from Borrowers and participating banks
Security Agent including management, reconciliation and storage of all of the collateral documentation
KEXIM Agent, GIEK Agent, KSURE Agent, Collateral Agent lead roles on deals
Credit Administration:
Assure compliance with credit procedures when loans are approved/amended/booked
Follow approved "tick-off” procedures including obtaining a document checklist; CP's met notice; documentation confirmation from legal
Monitor approval status of new credit proposals in internal system
Reconciliation of approved credit facilities between systems and reports
Assure maintenance of proper loan documentation and collateral files, including registration of legal documents into the Lotus Notes database and proper filing of the documents in the safe files/iron mountain
Liaison between the various credit areas of NY, Head Office, internal/external audit teams and Insurance Depot
Preparation of a summary loan details from the loan documentation for new loans/refinances/amendments for loan booking
Monitor/update/maintain the approved credit and settlement risk limits
Maintain the Lotus Notes Database with up to date credit papers/annual reviews/documents
Assist Relationship Managers with compliance tasks such as Know Your Customers, OFAC checks, gathering tax forms and ongoing Due Diligence
Ensure UCC continuations are filed as needed
Lead vessel deliveries including working closely with Loan Admin and the insurance department including completing New Vessel Forms and maintaining a list of collateral vessels
Act as the control function on all outgoing documentation
Assist with internal and external credit audits
 
 
 
 
 
Education Requirements: 
 
Bachelor's Degree is required
 
Experience and other Requirements:
 
Management of the Administrative Agent role vis-à-vis the Borrowers and the lending group, preferred, but not required
5+ years of experience in the financial service industry
Good understanding of corporate lending
Strong attention to detail
Excellent multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple closings at the same time
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Agency/Middle Office experience is a plus
Knowledge of the Lotus Notes database is a plus
