Full Charge Internal Bookkeeper

The Firm seeks an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to handle internal bookkeeping and payroll functions and a variety of administrative functions.  The position is based in our Wayne, NJ office, which will relocate to Little Falls, NJ during 2017.  A brief period of training in our New York, NY office may be required.

Process AP and AR
Process biweekly Payroll
Maintain the GL
Update and issue internal accounting reports
Process internal and client 1099s
Process staff and partner expense reports
Electronically file documents
Distribute payroll documents
Special projects, as needed
10+ years' experience as a full charge bookkeeper in a similar setting (CPA firm, Law Firm, or other Professional Services firm)
Mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel required
Proficiency in QuickBooks strongly preferred
Adaptability to new software and technology
Personable, friendly, and professional demeanor
Ability to manage the needs of multiple partners at once.
Minimum Associates Degree in Business Admin or Accounting
English fluency with excellent spoken and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to travel to NYC office on an infrequent basis
