•The Director of Asset Protection will protect customers, associates and company property.
•Promote the adherence to company policies and procedures.
•Familiarize associates with company rules, regulations and guidelines.
•Perform required compliance audits as directed.
•Investigate both internal and external issues.
•Investigate Internal and External Theft, Human Resources issues, including but not limited to sexual harassment, workplace violence, wage and hours issues, while working closely with Associate Relations, Human Resources and Legal Departments.


•Retail Loss Prevention experience a must
•The Director of Asset Protection will have a Bachelor's degree
•Strong ability to interview witnesses, suspects, testify in legal actions, union hearings and unemployment hearings.
•Ability to conduct investigations, with good interviewing and interrogation skills.
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Ability to write clear and concise reports.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Ability to assimilate information quickly
•Great people skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
•Ability to multi task and manage numerous on-going in-depth investigations simultaneously.
• Director of Asset Protection will have the ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
•Able to work long hours in fluid environment without direct supervision.
•High degree of initiative and motivation.
•Wicklander-Zulawski Certified, preferred.

•Investigate Internal/External Theft, Human Resource issues, including but not limited to sexual harassment, workplace violence, wage an hour issues, etc.
•Report investigation findings to Human Resource, Legal Departments and respective Executive Operations personnel for disposition.
•Assist Law Enforcement with investigations and prosecutions.
•Develop Shrink Reduction Plans and strategies for assigned area.
•Monitor in-store security programs and make recommendations to ensure effectiveness of these programs.
•Supervise contract guard services in assigned areas.
