This is a Evening SHIFT. Monday - Friday : 6:00 pm - 12:00 am Sunday: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Description: Main Duties Provide second-line desktop O/S and core productivity applications support; Provide first-line support for market data applications; Engage Application Development support groups on application issues; Escalate infrastructure issues to the local/regional Production Support teams; Provide out-off hour and weekends/holidays coverage. Market Data - Client and Reuters Support Person Requirements Qualification/Education Preferred MCSE/MCSA; ITIL certification. Experience required 2 years experience at a global investment bank supporting front office businesses; First-hand experience working with traders, salespeople. Skills/Aptitude Required Market data applications: Client, Reuters, etc; Window XP/2000 Desktop to registry level; Excel XP/2003 to VBA, add-in level; Office XP/2003; Blackberrys; remote working (VPN); Ticket-logging system: Remedy, Client, etc; Can work well under pressure; Can manage volatile situations; Able to relate technical issues/concepts to non-technical staff.
