Our client, a leading real estate investment management firm, is looking to add to their growing team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarter and annual fund financial statements, footnotes, and supplemental financial reporting for the International Funds.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly fund consolidation and supporting schedules for controller's review
  • Prepare and book all relevant journal entries such as capital calls, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, A/P, A/R etc.
  • Prepare all fund level books and records
  • Review accuracy of propertylevel financial statements obtained from Joint Venture partners
  • Prepare capital call calculations
  • Provide feedback to controller on necessary adjustments
  • Responsible for A/P and A/R on a continued basis
  • Work closely with Controller on administering 3rd party service providers and fund administrators
  • Work closely with controller on finalizing year end audits
  • Work with controller on special projects as they arise
Education & Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required
  • Strong excel and general ledger skills required
  • Consolidation experience is a must
  • Yardi general ledger experience preferred
  • IFRS experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant real estate fund reporting experience
  • Experience with fair market value accounting
  • Experience with closed end funds private equity real estate funds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive detailoriented professional with excellent problem solving capabilities
  • Exceptional organization, project management, and time management skills
  • CPA preferred
