DevOps Infrastructure Developer
The DevOps Infrastructure Developer will develop and implement a vertical CI/CD framework, combining Infrastructure and Development workflows with control points, auditing and visibility into the lifecycle of content. The DevOps Infrastructure Developer will effectively support and maintain the framework and build stack streamlining time to adoption, administration and reporting metrics. Drive solutions from both Infrastructure and Development teams by creating scalable and modular solution sets and/or framework for current and future use cases. and advocate and embrace the benefits of CI/CD by working directly with teams of all backgrounds and skillsets aiding the transition from legacy models.

  • Maintain and govern the CI/CD build stack for internal Infrastructure and external Development teams
  • Streamlining onboarding, adoption and time to consumption by writing and developing automation routines via web services pulling the DevOps tooling into a transparent service offering
  • Actively work with clients and stakeholders from documenting requirements to service delivery
  • Develop content directly related to Configuration Management of system state vs. desired state
  • Create reporting modules and dashboards on system usage, task assignment, stage status and queue management
  • Contributes to platform specification and design of next generation tooling and orchestration engines
  • Work directly with Engineering on DevOps, Agility and Configuration Management Programs during evaluation, use case materials, bake off criteria, bake off execution and tool analysis
  • Monthly analysis of overall solution set status, industry trends and movements accompanied by roadmap development
  • Actively works with Development, Operations and QA on issues and gaps solution design and implementation
  • Consistently collaborating with external vendors on software roadmap and pipeline awareness

  • 7 – 10 years' experience in automation, engineering and operations.
  • 5 years' experience creating, supporting and consuming DevOps CI/CD framework in the Open Source community.
  • 5 years' in one or more of the following languages: Python, Ruby, Java or C#.
  • 5 years' in creating and consuming both SOAP and Restful web services.
  • 5 years' of data commitment and consumption from TSQL databases.
  • 3 years of configuration management using Puppet or CFEngine or Ansible.
  • 2 years of experience deploying, supporting and consuming issue tracking applications, build environments and binary repositories.
  • DevOps Tools experience: Git/GitHub, ZenHub, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Maven
  • Container Technologies – Mesosphere, Docker, BlackDuck, Kubernetes
  • Hyper Converged Technologies – Nutanix, VCE
  • Cloud Suite and Services – Bluemix, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, OpenStack
