SR. PROJECT MANAGER - TRADING
An established global investment management firm is actively searching for an experienced Sr. Project Manager with an extensive background in trading to add to their Project Management team. The Sr. Project Manager – Trading should have a very technical understanding of trading platforms, specifically Fidelity (NFS), and will act as the SME within the organization for that system for their Financial and Portfolio Advisors. A huge part of your role will be to build enduring relationships with the advisors and provide expertise and solutions to meet their evolving needs. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be working directly with advisors in person and remotely to understand their needs and act as the liaison for Fidelity (NFS) internally.

Responsibilities
Optimize trading workflows of Financial Advisor teams by leveraging our Fidelity (NFS) trading platform.
Work with business partners and IT to define system enhancements for the Private Client Advisory (PCA) department with an emphasis on the trading and operations functions.
Prepare project plans and manage resources while documenting business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, workflow, and data requirements.
Coordinate development and implementation efforts with internal IT resources and/or external vendors.
Act as a business analyst, supporting the business process and ensuring processes are followed related to the use of PCA technology initiatives.
Review status and issues with senior management and provide technical assistance for business users and management.
Identify best practices being used and encourage adoption among other PCA groups. Manage expectations around system capabilities.

Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a business analyst and/or manager of technology projects
3+ years hands-on experience with demonstrated experience creating advanced reports, developing queries, and working extensively with SQL DBs
Fidelity (NFS) custodial and trading systems experience highly valued
Financial services industry experience is required
Experience with custodial and trading systems is required
Experience working with retail investment advisors is required
Series 7/63 licenses highly valued
Bachelor's Degree is required
Advanced degree valued
Experience working directly with senior investment professionals and technology vendors
Experience with Excel & Access
Understanding of wealth management operations
Ability to document functional requirements based on summary of interviews with business owners
Cross functional project coordination
Delivers clear, effective communication with senior professionals
Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks
Organized – ability to multi-task
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Works cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives
