Position Summary:
Uses intermediate knowledge and skills to complete Vendor Risk management activities to effectively evaluate, assess, manage and report on Vendor risks. Responsible for performing the Vendor risk assessment process including the review and scoring of inherent risk questionnaires, initiating and managing the due diligence process with cross functional control group and completing overall risk assessment summaries.
Principal Responsibilities:            
•             Evaluates vendor engagements to identify and manage vendor risk
•             Reviews Inherent risk questionnaires and calculates inherent risk
•             Initiates due diligence with cross function SME control groups  in accordance with procedures and job aids
•             Contacts vendors to obtain assurance documents
•             Coordinates with subject matter experts to collects due diligence reports and completes overall risk assessment summary
•             Works with procurement and business users to resolve delayed assessments
•             Updates vendor management system with assessment information in accordance with data governance
•             Assist business users with questions on the Inherent risk questionnaire,  risks identified through the due diligence process and acceptance of risk process
•             Assists in completing reporting for VRM metrics
•             Completes quality control reviews and testing to ensure procedures are followed
•             Performs other responsibilities or tasks as requested
Experience:
•             4 – 6 years in a professional environment.
•             3+ Experience in any of the following: Vendor management, Vendor Risk, Operational or Enterprise Risk, Information security, Internal Audit or Corporate Procurement
 
Knowledge and Skills Required:
•             Strong work ethic, time management, detail oriented
•             Strong written and verbal communication skills
•             Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables on time
•             Proficient PC skills, specifically with business-oriented applications such as Word, Excel, Sharepoint and PowerPoint
•             Strong excel skills including pivot tables, the ability to create charts and dashboards
•             Knowledge of risk and controls practices, procedures and principles
Education, Training &/or Certification:
4 year College Degree or equivalent experience
