Sr Front End Developer

Sr Front End Developer (Arlington, VA)

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of BPM solutions by collecting requirements and defining specifications.
  • Work with teams to design and develop user interfaces per those specifications.
  • Ensure user interfaces support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users by identifying functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the platform capabilities.
  • Design and implement user interfaces to provide for present and future cross-functional requirements. Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting the functional and technical requirements with the user experience as the priority.
  • Ensure these user interfaces are compatible and in compliance with the client organization and other applicable Federal Standards for security, interoperability, and accessibility.
  • Work collaboratively with team leads and supervisors to meet goals and objectives.
  • Perform peer reviews and write automated unit and integration tests
  • Deliver high quality code to realize business requirements
  • Contribute to analyses for feasibility of potential future projects vs. risk, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications
*Must have a Public Trust clearance

Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of experience
  • Experience with multiple full life cycle projects using Java, JavaScript, Angular, Ember or other related frameworks.
  • Experience in configuring and deploying web applications in an Agile environment
  • Strong knowledge and project experience in jQuery, client-side MVC frameworks, Spring, Web Services (REST), XSLT, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
  • Understanding of relational databases and modeling concepts
  • Experience integrating JavaScript build tools with Maven and Jenkins
  • Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices
  • Capable of obtaining public trust clearance
  • Experience with 508 standards and practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Experience
  • Experience/certification with the webMethods product suite
  • Experience developing web-based applications using JavaScript MVC frameworks
  • Experience using Bootstrap
  • Experience with J2EE frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experience with webMethods Composite Application Framework (CAF)
  • Experience designing and implementing user interfaces for Workflow Task Engines

Education and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology discipline
  • Additional Certifications preferred
