Technical Business Systems Analyst 

This Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for the design, support and optimization of all Human Resource (HR) and Corporate Accounting (CA) Information Systems (IS) to ensure the delivery of high‐quality services and processes. This position will serve as the subject matter expert on all management, workflows and administrative set up and maintenance of the Workday platform among other systems.      

B:            KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design
    • Collaborate and partner with HR/CA to analyze work, design new processes, and maximize the return on technological capabilities for HR/CA. 
    • Interpret requirements of the functional units and harmonize cross-functional processes across the business.
  • Support
    • Configure security roles and parameters in HR/CA information systems and maintain controls and records to assist with audit reviews. 
    • Oversee the review, testing and implementation of HR/CA system upgrades and patches.  Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
    • Write, maintain, and support reporting relating to HR/CA systems. Work towards providing self-service reporting and dashboards for administrators and end users. 
    • Troubleshoot issues between modules, systems, and data feeds as necessary to drive accuracy. Become the point of contact for issue tracking, documentation, testing, and resolution within the HR/CA systems.
    • Create and maintain system training plans and materials for administrators and end users.
    • Develop and maintain user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
    • Train HR/CA and other users on new processes/functionality.
  • Optimize
    • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for full system functionality and assist HR/CA with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
    • Partner with HR/CA and system providers to drive innovative solutions to accommodate business needs and make policy changes and/or variations as needed within the HR/CA systems.
    • Work with business partners to create dynamic and effective change management plans.
    • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
C:        MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in a technical area, such as Computer Science or Programming, or a business area, such as Accounting or Finance
    • MBA (degree holder or candidate) preferred
  • Workday experience required
  • Familiarity with technical concepts and systems integration frameworks such as query writing (ex: SQL), file transfer protocols (ex: sFTP.) and basic programming statements (ex: conditional statements)
  • Familiarity with basic HR and Corporate Accounting concepts and processes such as benefits administration, accounts payable, payroll processing and budgeting
