About the Role
Our client has a number of successful offerings in the United States, and is looking to expand this proposition to additional products and clients. While they have a presence in the US across a number of locations, this expansion will require additional operational capabilities to be established, including additional technology capabilities.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced project manager to work closely with the business to identify and establish the capabilities required to expand the business in the United States. This will span from product and distribution through to operations.
You will utilize your project management skills and strong stakeholder management experience to be accountable for the delivery of this outcome. There will be a large technology component to ensure that a platform is established that meets the needs of the business and future clients, however, you will also be responsible to ensuring the non-technology outcomes are met, such as business operations, organization design, vendor on-boarding, etc.

In this role you will be required to:
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders on the requirements for the expanded business. You will manage the requirements gathering process.
  • Manage the RFP process for any additional services that are identified and put to RFP, including development the RFP document and the assessment of the responses
  • Manage the delivery of any internal capabilities
  • Run effective governance forums including the Steering Committee and Working Groups
  • Engage with stakeholders to scope out and build a detailed project plan. To continually manage and maintain this project plan.
  • Project manage all stages of the project lifecycle (from initiation to implementation), including
    • Identification of key project activities, business & project resource requirements and critical path issues
    • Effectively managing budget, scope, schedule, quality, risks and issues
    • Identifying and recruiting necessary additional resources where necessary
    • Effective application of project governance & active engagement of stakeholders at all levels
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, to become an active member of the project team and to ensure effective project delivery and communications

About You
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar business aligned Project Management role within banking or financial services.
  • Experience delivering projects that include new technology capabilities
  • A proven track record of taking accountability and delivering a number of complex projects to a high-quality standard & tight schedule
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations
  • The ability to maintain a 'big picture approach' whilst retaining a detailed understanding of project deliverables
  • Experience in delivering projects through geographically dispersed teams
