VP Messaging Engineer

The Messaging & Core Applications team is looking for an experienced engineer to focus on MS Exchange server engineering, MS Office engineering, core messaging engineering, integration, strategy and on-going steady state projects.

  • The Ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience with at-least 5+ years of technical project
  • management/business systems analyst experience.
  • Exchange 2007 and 2010, and Exchange 2013
  • Networking, e.g. DHCP, TCP/IP, WINS, firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of email security – Anti-Malware, SPAM and Phishing defenses.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Experience with cloud email solutions (i.e. Office 365, GoogleApps, etc.)
  • Technical: Technical Project Manager with prior messaging engineering/support background in MS
  • Exchange and MS Office.
  • Analysis: Ability to work with his/her local/global team, managers and internal clients to understand business practices and engineer solutions.
  • Communication: The person will need excellent verbal and written communication skills. He/she needs to show past experience in utilizing various influencing skills.
  • Project Management: TPM in an enterprise infrastructure oriented environment with the ability to drive complex projects.

  • Responsibilities include engineering the global messaging and core applications platform:
  • Driving integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product owners, architects, engineers, compliance, and technical risk teams
  • Works within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the development/deployment schedule for major product releases
  • Maintains dependency plan for planned deployments across engineering, infrastructure, and third parties
  • Manages, and appropriately escalates, delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the product development initiatives.
