Seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join an emerging group within an established financial institution.  The .NET Developer will be part of the Web development team that builds and works on enterprise retail applications using Microsoft .NET development stack. Responsibilities include design, development from scratch, testing and maintaining MVC based web applications.
Works with the development team to create custom web application solutions from the ground up to support business needs.
Interacts with others in formulating the design and scope of new internal applications and software maintenance projects.
Participates in many aspects of the product life cycle including solution design, implementation, and testing.
Participates in discussions and makes recommendations on architecture and overall direction of company platforms.
Ensures quality code delivery from team members and vendors, including code review, verification against best practice, and quality testing. Opens bug tickets and retests fixes.
Adheres to change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements and deployments.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required
3+ years of experience with .Net development using C#
MVC experience is a desired but not required
Entity Framework
Experience managing a professional web site, including server management, component development, and data integration
HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Web UI development
Windows servers and SQL servers 2008+.
Web applications development experience
Back-end coding skills using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, MS-SQL/T-SQL
Some front-end development skills and experience, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC framework, Bootstrap framework, debugging, and troubleshooting
Experience working with web services and related technologies (JSON, REST, SOAP, XML).
Working experience with MSSQL including design and developing databases.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Good understanding of OOP and N-Tier architecture.
Experience with Agile development methodology and SDLC methodology.
Demonstrates strong analytical ability and aptitude to derive and translate designs from business concepts.
Ability to understand and quickly learn business concepts, functions, processes and activities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
Proven creative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.

Certifications are preferred, but not required.
