Primary responsibility is to provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and problem resolution, primarily via the phone or remote desktop support tools to the firm's employees. This position is responsible for troubleshooting issues with all enterprise technology and applications, responding promptly to client's needs and service requests.

The Information Systems Analyst is expected to work independently to identify, evaluate and recommend modifications to the firm's production environment with the goal of improving the overall stability and performance of the technical infrastructure. The I.S. Analyst will perform basic system maintenance and act as a resource for I.S. projects.

1) Subject Matter Expect on Windows 10/Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2016/2010, Office 365, SharePoint, Cisco Jabber.
2) Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and problem resolution for applications, servers, desktops, printers, copiers and network issues and providing IT support during non-business hours.
3) Responsible for the providing operational support and maintaining the operational efficiency of the local data center.
4) Manages the Cisco and Windows technology within the DC Video Conference Rooms for internal and external meetings.
5) Maintains and supports the firms' mobile devices (smart phones and tablets) managed with VMware Air Watch Mobile Device Management Console.
6) Manages Active Directory user accounts for new hires and assigns user access rights to various network groups and directories.
7) Responsible for moves, adds and changes to the Cisco Call Manager Phone System.
8) Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory of technology assets and related components for the purpose of cost control, efficient operation, and support of the technology infrastructure
9) Provides end-user training to employees on IT Policies/Procedures, applications and systems.
10) Performs other duties as defined by the IS Manager

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working on a HelpDesk providing 1st and 2nd level support.
  • Previous experience working within a law firm is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment,
  • Availability to work during non- business hours with little or no notice.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and TCP/IP.

  • Knowledge on application specific questions (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Cisco Jabber, Open Text DM, Litera Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Carpe Diem, Aderant Expert Time)
  • BS/BA Degree and technical certifications.
