A software company is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in their NYC Midtown office. 

The HRBP will be responsible for the management and support of varied HR disciplines, focused on providing support to employees and managers in all aspects of employee relations, performance improvement plans and HR information and data analysis.

This person will report into the VP of HR and work closely with employees and managers. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and a driven team player with excellent communication and collaborative skills. This person should be a self-starter, independent and a problem solver. 

Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR activities of the company to enable and support the business strategy and direction.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies to support a high-engagement culture.
  • Manage a variety of HR disciplines concentrating on: employee relations, performance improvement plans, performance management, termination, employee welfare, HR administration, HR information system (reports and trends).
  • Apply company policies, procedures, and organizational development.
  • Consulting with managers and employees on related issues, providing HR guidance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • In charge of HR information and data analysis; evaluate trends in order to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Create reports and presentative for HR team and higher management.
  • Managing assessments processes.
Human Resources Business Partner Requirements: 
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Labor Studies, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master's Degree – a plus.
  • 5+ years of well-rounded HR generalist hands-on experience in a fast-paced technology environment – a must. Managerial experience – a plus.
  • Experience working in a global software organization – a plus.
  • HR Generalist knowledge and experience in multiple HR disciplines.
  • Previous experience in performance improvement plans and termination is a must.
  • Excellent analytical skills; proficient in using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional business acumen and a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Must be tactful, mature, flexible, and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, consulting, and negation skills.
  • "Can-do” approach, resourceful, self-motivated, and independent.
