IT/Business Objects Developer - Senior

The primary function/purpose of this job.
It is the responsibility of the Sr Business Systems Analyst to support the strategic direction of the Insight Delivery department through the timely and accurate development of Business Objects reports to both internal and external customers of the CuraScript Specialty Distribution business. With minimal guidance, the Sr Business Systems Analyst will be expected to prioritize report requests through the intake process per defined SLA and engage with customers to ensure a superior level of customer service.

Essential Functions:
The 3-6 major responsibility areas of the job.

Development and implementation of internal and external use data reporting:
• Business Objects
• Alteryx (preferred)
Internal coordination of reporting efforts across multiple functional areas including:
• Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, Business Analytics, Marketing, Pharma Sales and Client Delivery
Special projects design and documentation

SCOPE OF JOB - Provide quantitative data reflecting the scope and impact of the job – such as budget managed, sales/revenues, profit, clients served, adjusted scripts, etc.
Insight Delivery supplies data reporting and billing for administrative fees/rebates for over $7B in specialty pharmaceutical sales for the CuraScript Specialty Distribution business. Contractually obligated to collect administrative fees/rebates, the timely and accurate deployment of these reports is also critical to maintain access to pharmaceutical product and programs. Working in close concert with various internal and external customer groups, Insight Delivery is dedicated to consistently providing outstanding customer service in support of this 12%+ CAGR business unit.

Minimum Qualifications To Enter The Job:

Formal Education and/or Training:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

Years of Experience:
7-10 years relevant work experience; 5 years' experience in Business Objects report development and design
Top 3 Main criteria: 1. Expertise in developing reports in Business Objects, 2. Very strong understanding of SQL, 3. Clear verbal/written communication with a focus on customer service/relationship building with customer base.

Computer or Other Skills:
Proficiency in SAP Business Objects, SQL, relational database concepts, Alteryx (preferred)

Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong organizational and communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills with both external and internal clients; Ability to quickly identify and resolve customer issues while reinforcing realistic expectations to the customer and maintaining SLA; Multi-functional knowledge and understanding of Turning Point operating system.
