.Net Automation Engineer

PRINCETON INFORMATION IS SEEKING A .NET AUTOMATION ENGINEER FOR A CLIENT IN SMITHFIELD, RI

As part of Client's Sales Technology QA Engineering team, the .Net Automation Engineer will work closely with the QA Manager, Architecture and Development leads to define and implement test automation strategies utilizing software engineering methods.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and augment test automation frameworks responsible for testing application presentation, logic, and data tiers
• Lead automation initiatives that identify and convert manual processes to be more consistent, repeatable, and reliable
• Work alongside and/or within the agile development teams to aid in development of automated tests within the project's lifecycle
• Review all source code developed by QA engineering team and provide feedback and guidance when needed
• Train and mentor QA team on automation engineering concepts and best practices
• Act as team's automation liaison when working within the broader FIAM organization
• Aid in incorporating test automation cycles within continuous integration pipelines
• Setup, manage, and maintain testing infrastructure

Experience and Skills:
• Must understand and be able to articulate the importance of automation engineering in relation to SDLC and DevOps processes
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation)
• Solid knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL
• Must be able to utilize web service tools like SoapUI, PostMan, and Rest Assured
• Strong object oriented design and development skills with demonstrated ability to apply them to test automation
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Ability to identify and adopt new technologies quickly
• Must have a strong understanding of QA methodologies
• 5-7 years prior QA Engineering experience
• 1-3 years prior lead experience
• 3-5 years hands-on development experience with object-oriented language such as C# or .NET experience
• Experience using integrated development environments such as Visual Studio and Eclipse
• Experience using database querying tools such as Oracle SQL Developer
• Experience using automated testing libraries such as Appium and Selenium
