  • Receives and checks contents of incoming registered mail and signs manifests, examines for conformity to postal regulations such as proper postage and logs items received on delivery sheets for pick up by authorized personnel upon signature.
  • Checks outgoing registered mail against manifests, issues receipts, weighs and affixes postage.
  • Accepts, examines, sorts, lists and prepares for distribution ordinary mail received and certified mail from the ordinary mail section.
  • Accepts and processes express and courier mail through the “Sendsuite” Arrival Mail Tracking System for internal distribution to its intended recipients.
  • Delivers and distributes processed internal ordinary, registered and certified mail to its intended recipients.
  • Accepts and delivers “special messenger” items to be delivered to outside locations.
  • Operates and maintains a variety of high speed printing equipment.
  • Operates and maintains off-line equipment such as plotters, scanners, binders, laminators and cutters.
  • Performs scanning of function correspondence on project documents into DM Hummingbird data base.
  • Receives work from electronic E-mail submission or over the counter; discusses special instructions with customers; adheres to job completion time and notifies customers regarding status and problems that arise.
  • Receives “rush” work and determines the fastest method of reproduction or directs the work to supervisory Personnel.
  • Performs computer composition of some submitted requests such as name tents, name badges, booklets and pamphlets.
  • Performs scanning of documents to external devices and specific software files.
  • Performs quality control on completed work by proofing and scanning for copy quality issues, deletions and proper off-line completion of printed documents.
  • Ensures the security of printed material of a confidential nature by locking it in a designated area.
  • Delivers and distributes processed printed reproductions and off-line finished materials to its intended recipients.
  • Tracks and records printed materials for month end reporting.
  • Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

Receive, process, dispatch and deliver incoming, outgoing, registered, certified and ordinary mail to and from the U.S. Postal Service. Accept , process and deliver express and/or messenger couriered mail through the “Sendsuite” Arrival Mail Tracking System.
  • Operates and maintains a variety of high-speed B/W and/or color copiers and off-line related equipment to reproduce or complete printed materials as requested by user areas in the Bank. Mailroom
  • Knowledge of postal laws and regulations
    • Adherence to custody control standards and all Client rules and regulations
    • Knowledge of rates of all classes of mail and postal zones
    • Deliver mail incoming and outgoing to all Client New York locations and outside locations Printing Services
    • Knowledge of printing, binding, laminating and cutting equipment and how they work.
    • Personal computer literacy, including spreadsheet, work processing, database and graphics software.
    • Overtime as required.
