Looking for a content strategist/technical writer to support our internal End User Experience organization. The goal of this organization is to improve technology experience for internal Client employees and ensure they have access to the right technology at the right time to accomplish their job responsibilities. This individual must be a big-picture strategist, creative thinker and problem solver, consistently producing visual solutions to the technology communication needs of internal employees. This position supports numerous technology experience initiatives in a variety of capacities. The position requires dealing with diverse and oftentimes complex ideas related to technology change and user behavior that need to be translated into clear and cogent communications. Also will assist with Voice of Customer execution, data analysis, communication and follow up to bring open items submitted by internal users to closure.

Essential Functions
Develop, design and present strategic and audience-appropriate content from concept through preparation
Work proactively to identify communication and creative initiatives that support the organizational objectives. Drive strategy and execution on such initiatives
Collaborate with Manager of Content Strategy to create communications that improve employee experience with technology
Analyze and understand end-to-end employee experiences with technology to ensure that all content is consistent in brand/tone/construction and technically correct
Write a variety of content as needed, including on-screen instructional/directional copy, informational content, navigational elements, error messages, contextual help messages, alert messages and FAQs
Assist in gathering requirements and assessing content needs of a given project
Update intake logs, content templates and other standard forms
Provide strategic content recommendations and writing/editing support for UX team, product managers, and other content stakeholders
Participate as an observer in user interviews and usability testing

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication or related field
5-8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
Proficient in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; strong written and verbal communication skills for research communication and design recommendations.
Outstanding ability to translate technology changes and updates into communications that are meaningful and impactful for non-technical end users
Ability to take direction and to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or attention to detail; Ability to work under extreme pressure and strict timelines, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment; Ability to respond flexible to changing priorities
Strong writing/editing skills focused on user experience (work samples required)
Experience collaborating with large teams using outstanding communication skills
Attention to detail, especially as it relates to complex customer interactions
