Princeton Information is seeking a Project Manager (ServiceNow Architecture / Business Systems) for our client's Tampa based team. This position will report to the Senior Manager.

Project Manager (ServiceNow Architecture / Business Systems) will serve as the owner for our clients technology ServiceNow's Project Portfolio Suite, used by several teams to manage the companies technology portfolio.

Additional responsibilities include deploying Demand and Resource Management to enhance internal portfolio and project management discipline. The Incumbent will also be responsible for evolving and improving the use and adoption of our Project Management Lifecycle. Further, the Specialist will provide the proper training and documentation for staff members to effectively execute their project through all phases including initiation, planning, development, execution, control and closeout of projects, in both traditional and Agile environments. The Incumbent will also work with stakeholders (portfolio managers, project managers, service owners, finance, etc.) to build upon and further enhance our end-to-end processes and further build out our global platform to arrive at a holistic view and gain insights into overall technology portfolio.

This team provides technology portfolio management and project execution and delivery services.

Key Activities for the Specialist include:
  • Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Develops user manuals and other forms of documentation to describe the PMLC that can be executed and put into practice by staff
  • Analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications
  • Partners with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing
  • Prepares for and ensures that documentation stands up to audits and inspections
  • Maintains system ownership for, and support of, ServiceNow's Project Portfolio Suite
  • Oversees release team allocation, scheduling, problem / conflict resolution and related release activities
  • Forms strong relationships and works collaboratively across teams
  • 5% domestic travel can be expected
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 3 years of Project Management and/or Information Systems experience or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Project Management and/or Information Systems experience or Associate's degree and 10 years of Project Management and/or Information Systems experience or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management and/or Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience utilizing critical thinking and problem solving skills to achieve results
  • Ability to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
  • Experience working with enterprise project portfolio computer systems (e.g., ServiceNow, CA Technologies, Clarity)
  • Experience in an environment requiring one to foster collaboration and work effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Strong learning agility and technical leadership with the ability to breakdown complex topics issues and into actionable plans
  • Strong experience and understanding of various system development methodologies, especially Agile, Scrum, and Kanban concepts
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products, especially with software engineers and quality analysts
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills plus sound analytical and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision
