Product Owner

Princeton Information is seeking a Product Owner with SaaS experience for a contract to perm opportunity. This person will be responsible for owning the business requirements from ideation to deployment working closely with the application development team to product delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, model, and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • Scope programs, systems, and process engineering efforts.
  • Work with key product/platform/business stakeholders to formulate the business vision, frame initial requirements, and scope the work.
  • Translate business and/or customer needs by working with the customer to elicit and distill requirements and perspectives from different sources and integrate and refine the information into a consistent vision, direction, and outcome for technical development or product enhancements or maturity.
  • Assist product and platform teams in determining the direction, logical functions, and use cases for their projects.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and business analysts across multiple initiatives in arriving at ground-level requirements.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of business analysis best practices in order to propose changes to evolve the Business Architecture team and processes.
  • Translate technical issues by explaining technical/architectural complexities to project stakeholders, and understanding and communicating technical or work plan impact to requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance (QA)/user acceptance test (UAT) functions during test cycles.

Education and Experience (required):
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, product development, sales or related.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Minimum three (3) years product development experience (ideation to deployment and production support).
  • Minimum three (3) years User Acceptance Test (UAT) ownership experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working with SaaS platforms and application development team.
