Financial Analyst - I

• Collect, analyze and synthesize financial management information about the Bank, Client System, and the external environment to support the resource planning process for the Bank.
• Build relationships and maintain effective communication and coordination within the department, with other teams in the Function, and with other Bank Groups.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with System policies and standards as well as internal control processes. Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance department performance, manage risk, and benchmark to industry best practices.
Perform daily operational activities (budget, forecast, and operating expense) consistent with department policies, standards, and procedures. This includes interfacing files, providing support and maintaining databases between multiple applications.
• Perform monthly cost and revenue reporting and data validation reviews consistent with established procedures and deadlines, engage stakeholders to document explanations, and escalate issues as needed.
• Continuously improve subject matter expertise around operational processes and financial management applications for core stakeholders while providing guidance around the Bank's cost accounting process.

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or related fields preferred.
• Approximately 3+ years of business experience.
• High energy, detail-oriented, and capable self-starter with the ability to explore innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner as an individual and in a team environment.
• Ability to synthesize financial data and provide insightful analysis that supports decision making.
• Possess core technical skills, including fluency in Microsoft suite of applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and proficiency working with different applications to collect, sort, and reconcile data.
• Knowledge and application of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial control policies and procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to express ideas in a clear, concise and compelling manner and tailor communications for different audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills and customer-service orientation; demonstrated experience delivering successful outcomes on projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
