This is a one year contract with potential hire after that time. This position is reporting up to the manager of Web Development, primarily working with the SharePoint practice.
Extranet Support Engineer
Job Description:
The Extranet Support Engineer is expected to perform/demonstrate the following:
  • Experience supporting all aspects of hardware and software pertaining to Microsoft server products; in particular SharePoint 2013 & 2016, Active Directory / ADFS and SQL server
  • Understanding of network protocols, devices and architectures.
  • Understanding of security controls including multi-factor authentication, anti-virus scanning, threat analysis and protection
  • Ability to migrate legacy content to SharePoint 2016 environment using Metalogix or similar tool.
  • Ability to support other windows based ECM solutions including Documentum eRooms.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately respond to L3 support requests including but not limited to archiving, deleting, bugs and enhancements
  • Validate periodic patching protocols
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot problems, conduct research
  • Ability to engage with partners and clients to solve business solutions
  • Inherent desire to work in a team environment and deliver above expectations

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting an Enterprise level Microsoft server environment.
  • Understanding of Microsoft PowerShell
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Strong team-first mindset

Beneficial but not required skill sets
  • Understanding and experience with Metalogix tool set a plus
  • Experience supporting Documentum eRooms are a plus
  • ISO Certification a plus
  • MS Certification a plus
