Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
• Responsible for aspects of the Bank's disbursement process, which includes receipt, monitoring, reconciliation, payment and performance tracking.
• Lead and participate in Bank or System meetings, tasks forces, and workgroups pertaining to issues relevant to disbursement functions, including conducting research, providing information, and preparing formal reports for multiple levels of audience.
• Build relationships and maintain effective communication and coordination with other Bank departments and Reserve Banks.
• Identify and implement operational improvements and business process re-engineering strategies to enhance the department's performance, manage risk, and benchmark to industry best practice.
• Establish and monitor internal control processes and maintain, create or enhance standard operating procedures.

Quals--
• Bachelor's degree required preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable disbursement processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with strong emphasis on Excel pivot tables and V-look ups.
• Strong Knowledge and application of advanced accounting, financial and business principles.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels.
• Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze data and put forth recommendations based on results. Considers alternatives, implements decisions and evaluates their effectiveness.
• Listens to others and leverages their input to improve service and products. Demonstrates a consistency between actions and words.
• Excellent planning and organizations skills to balance and prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strict attention to detail, the ability to work independently on assignments, drive solutions and recommendations, and the ability to handle multiple task simultaneous
