Creative Support Specialist Contractor Position Description & Objectives

The Creative Specialist contractor position will manage creative for several marketing channels and drive creative refreshes for ongoing marketing campaigns. The candidate will partner with agencies, beginning at briefing stage, to develop new creative for digital usage campaigns as well as manage a matrix of ongoing campaigns that require quarterly revisions to account for changes in customer experience and research. Additionally, form successful partnerships with marketing channel owners, agile marketing leads, as well as legal/compliance to help ensure smooth deployments of any new marketing or refreshed campaign creative.

Position Responsibilities:
• Manage creative development in channels such as onboarding materials (including print materials) and mobile & online banners from briefing stage with creative agencies to working with the channel leads to execute. This includes creative changes to select materials on a bi-monthly basis and using customer research to inform creative strategy and approach.
• Support creative updates in existing campaigns such as extensive Email trigger list (30+/year) and rotating in-app placements across iOS and Android, including identifying when journey functions are updated and require revisions in the marketing. This would include reviewing the journey changes, identifying the updates needed and working closely with creative agencies to correct/ refresh and prepare to hand to agile lead.
• Support in development and deployment of new campaign creative for advertising and social media channels as well as helping with creative testing and research.
• Support creation of additional digital usage marketing initiatives as needed such as maintaining style guides, helping to review mobile app marketing from outside teams, helping with ad hoc presentation decks.

Required Skills/experience:
• Marketing/Creative Brief writing and development
• Attention to detail and understands end to end creative development from strategy to execution
• Experience working at or with creative agencies
• Exceptional communications skills both written and oral
• Passion for creative development and marketing strategy
• 3-5 years' experience in Digital and/or email marketing
