Project Overview:
VarCiti is a centralized trade level Brokerage, Clearing and Exchange(BC&E) fee platform with specific focus on capturing costs incurring trades across all ICG products.
Core Objectives -
Identify cost incurring trades across ICG products
Determine the associated cost for each transaction for each product
Enrich with appropriate attributes (GOC, LE, Segment, Brokers, Venues etc.) to facilitate insightful analysis
Facilitate dissemination of trade cost information to key stake holders to drive business decisions
Senior management target of 90% of $0.5 billion annual Brokerage and Exchange fees incurred by ICG

VarCiti data is extensively utilized by the senior management to renegotiate broker tariffs to realize the efficiencies.

Resource Role:
Resource will work on high performance & high volume distributed enterprise systems using multi-threading and parallel processing for a Global Expense Management platform that automates allocations, accruals, postings to the ledger, invoice reconciliation and payments.
Responsible for a centralized rates repository to ensure compliance with negotiated rates.
1. The resource will be responsible for developing new business functionality and new features of a variable transactional expense system.
2. Create ETL jobs using complex business rules using Talend ETL tool. Extract from heterogeneous data sources and transform into a harmonized data store under stringent business deadlines.
3. The individual is expected to design and implement all stages of data life cycle. Maintain coding and naming standards.
4. Interact closely with the Data Analysts and Users during Unit Testing, Integration, UAT and PROD rollout.
