Princeton Information is seeking a .NET Programmer/Analyst with Xamarin experience for an awesome opportunity in Tampa.

Responsibilities

Works with internal departments to provide associated deliverables required for successful completion of development and maintenance assignments. Gathers user requirements and translates them into functional application units. Works with central Web Team, internal content owners, or external contractors to develop application solutions.
  • Writes and modifies application code in a variety of languages (.Net Stack – C# and VB.Net mainly), following department procedures and standards.
  • Assists in design and development of databases.
  • Develops knowledge of any existing APIs with any and all desktop software used within the company. Troubleshoots programming problems, reading and interpreting application code.
  • Maintains all source code in centralized source code management tool. Develops and maintains quality procedures and documentation.
  • May participate in Information Technology Division's regular on-call rotation.
  • Attends job-specific training classes as requested by manager.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
  • 4-6 years of application development experience using .Net / C#.
  • Understanding of object oriented programming and principles.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Good data analysis and integration skills. Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to document processes through flow-charts and specifications.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • General knowledge and understanding of company's products, services, policies, and procedures as they pertain to the job
  • General knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of all company's computer systems and software programs required to perform job duties.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with staff and vendors.
  • Must be able to work under general supervision. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
