Princeton Information is seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Technical Writer for a consulting opportunity in Tampa Florida.

Description:
The Business Analyst will have diverse responsibilities focused on technology, system implementations, as well as process analysis, supporting key business and operational initiatives, among other critical activities both internally and with our expertly clients. Our company is a fast-paced environment with lots of initiatives occurring simultaneously. We are looking for someone that can manage multiple responsibilities and projects while producing a high-quality work product. The role will report to the Product Management Office.

 
As post of this position candidates will need to have a background with Technical Writing. The Technical Writer primary responsibility is to create internal and end-user product documentation that meets client and internal stakeholder requirements. This position works closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business Architects and Software engineers, leveraging their authored functional requirements, design specifications, and other solution artifacts to assemble content consumable by end-customers and stakeholders. Technical Writer works with this team in an Agile environment, supporting the Product Management and the Product Development teams in providing extraordinary solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Support systems-related SOPs project execution in direct partnership with IT and the business; measure and document business results achieved through solution implementation
  • Bring a heavy amount of attention to detail with gathering requirements and providing documentation.
  • Advise the business on best practices and available tools to manage business processes and other strategic initiatives
  • Have a proven background with full SDLC projects in an Agile environment working with several until at the same time
  • Prepare presentations for the team and senior management highlighting performance in an easy-to-understand, executive-ready manner.
  • Identify areas of improvement to increase accuracy, completeness and/or consistency and implement solutions in process, policy, and overall operations.
  • Audit processes to identify process and performance defects.
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Collaborate with team members on standard Business Analyst processes and procedures mentoring others to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Technical Writing;
    • Takes ownership of documents and deliverables associated with software products and associated services
    • Manages the content, upkeep, maintenance, organization, and readiness for delivery to stakeholders
    • Prepares accurate and detailed content and documentation appropriate for client users and internal stakeholders
    • Partners with architects, analysts, product managers, engineers, and QA teams for content input and validation, documentation reviews, and to ensure quality and accuracy
    • Delivers documentation in accordance with plans and documentation standards established
    • Proactively understands change of scope and makes relevant changes accordingly
    • Owns documentation process development
    • Manages documentation inventory, version control of documents using tools
    • Demonstrates proficiency with advanced documentation and graphics tools such as Adobe Framemaker, Robohelp, Photoshop, etc
    • Demonstrates strong proficiency in use of English language
    • Communicates effectively with internal teams through an Agile development lifecycle
    • Attends Agile-Scrum meetings for assigned projects
    • Maintains awareness of documentation trends and tools in the industry to help implement improvements

    Required Skills/Experience:
  • 5+ years of Professional Business Analyst experience, or focus in project/program management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • 3+ Years of experience with full SDLC web / mobile application development projects, strong understanding of systems analysis, including root cause analysis and other process modeling and systems design methodologies
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to think independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts.
  • Understanding of Agile processes 
    Certs/Education:
  • 4 year degree highly preferred
  • Agile Certification highly preferred
  • Understanding or working knowledge of Agile
  • Experience with Marketing processes are a plus
  • Knowledge of Dynamics and other Microsoft Systems is a plus
