Job Title: Assoicate, Financial Reporting
Duties: Position within the Global Financial Reporting team of Global Fund Services-US Fund Administration of an investment advisor with approximately to (USD)6 trillion assets under management. As an experienced professional, this position supports a complex and fast-paced mutual fund business in a dynamic and challenging environment.



Day-to-day responsibilities include financial reporting oversight for approximately 650 mutual funds and exchange traded funds with approximately (USD)2 trillion of net assets.



Responsibilities

· Learn about the fund strategies of mutual funds and exchange traded funds and how that translates to presentation of financial information in form N-PORT and N-CEN;



Manage regulatory filings process including production workflow and agree timeline with the Funds' external service providers;


Review of financial information included in financial reports against the annual and semi-annual, shareholder reports and other sources of information;


Perform analytical, quantitative and qualitative reviews of financial information and results to ensure quality standards are maintained, and resolving any queries raised;


· Assist team leader with communicating to external service providers and internal stakeholders on accuracy of content;



Keep abreast of product, business, accounting standards and regulatory changes and develop and maintain a good understanding of the financial accounting environment.


Skills: Qualifications


College degree is required, preferably in accounting; Advanced degree and/or CPA are preferable; Candidate should possess 4 to 7 years combined experience in public accounting, internal audit, mutual fund administration and/or mutual fund accounting., preferably within a mutual fund financial reporting group; Candidate must have a working knowledge of technical and regulatory issues affecting the mutual fund industry, including generally accepted accounting principles, the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Regulation S-X; Computer proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excel VBA and/or SQL skills a plus.
