Job summary:
• Senior developer with strong analytical and technical ability with over 4 years of experience in OpenText Teamsite, Java, J2EE and web services development
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the full SDLC of project based from design through to deployment
• Develop\maintain\update templates, LiveSite components, Sites and Workflows
• Support and maintain deployed applications and Teamsite environments
• OpenDeploy server setups and configurations
• Update technical documentation relating to design and code
• Communicate status of projects and issues with project manager
Skills Required
• Extensive experience with Interwoven TeamSite, LiveSite and OpenDeploy; knowledge of best practices and design patterns.
• Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience in design and development of web based Java/J2EE applications using Object-oriented technologies
• Relevant experience of 4 years in Interwoven products , particularly 7.x. Should be able to Manage Branches, Workareas, Sites, Site Structures, Site Maps, and Content Folders. Able to Manage Users, Groups, Roles and Permissions.
• Proficient in Autonomy Interwoven foundational concepts, TeamSite branching strategies, FormsPublisher & SitePublisher component/ template design, Workflows, Security, OpenDeploy deployment architectures for static and dynamic content publishing, and SitePublisher/ LiveSite capabilities such as Taxonomy, Dynamic Content Delivery, and Targeting.
• Proficient in XML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML,XPATH and client/ server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl and TeamSite's FormAPI. Experience in developing custom components, externals and controllers in Java.
• Awareness of end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes.
• Working knowledge of developing web applications in eclipse or RAD IDEs
• Working knowledge of unix/Solaris/AIX environment
• Ability to pick up new technologies, solve complex technical problems and multitask between different projects
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driving environment
• Flexibility and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
