IT Project Services is one of multiple competencies centers within Technology Group Solution Delivery organization that is responsible for providing project management and business analysis services. The department staff manages a diverse portfolio of applications, systems, platforms and integrated COTS products ranging from mission critical for the System to tactical for specific business line units. The IT Project Services Group is looking for a professional Project Manager to provide oversight to technology projects within the IT Project Core Systems portfolio. This portfolio includes projects and programs in support of the Technology Services Group and National IT, Internal Communications, Human Resources, Corporate, Legal, Audit and the Executive Office. • Develops and manages all facets of a project's planning and implementation including, but not limited to; project schedule/milestones, documentation of scope and requirements, budget, resource requirements, project communications, and issue escalation; • Ensures that the project adheres to the defined Technology Group project workflow process and governance framework, as well as established Bank and System project standards; • Identifies key project risks and dependencies, and coordinates the inclusion and management of the dependencies in a project strategy and schedule; • Provides comprehensive project management oversight by liaising with business stakeholders, technology support, and senior management to ensure that a project achieves the defined business requirements, and that change requests are documented, approved and implemented according to the defined process; • Performs analysis of schedule and collaborates with stakeholder groups to ensure that appropriate resources (human, physical and financial) are allocated to the project to ensure successful and timely completion; • Conducts status reviews with the business area and technology teams. Identifies variances and initiates corrective action to stay on target; • Provides oversight to the project team, and management, in identifying and managing the risks associated with the project and developing and executing appropriate risk mitigation plans; • Ability to facilitate complex information security activities and comprehend information and physical security concept. • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation/influence skills • Able to work effectively as a team member and leader • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and the ability to clearly communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization • Strong customer service/customer relations orientation • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g., Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint)

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities: • Extensive understanding / experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the FRS Technology Project Standards (TPS) • Strong understanding of and experience managing projects utilizing both waterfall and Agile development methodologies • Extensive project risk management planning and administration • Strong knowledge of project management scheduling processes and tools • Experience in vendor management processes and contract processes • Experience in the development, tracking, and reporting of project management performance metrics • Working and conceptual knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and MS productivity and collaboration suite (MS Office, Outlook and Skype) • General understanding of Cisco networking principles and components • Familiarity with server virtualization, platform as a service, software as a service and cloud based platforms and services • Conceptual knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL database integration with application design • Experience with network bases services like telephony, videoconferencing, digital signage, etc.
