Training Specialist

• Develop and implement innovative programs, curricula and products to advance knowledge of economics and Client System among the Bank’s target audiences; • Create effective assessments to measure program and curricular impact on participants and report on results to stakeholders; • Help cultivate and manage relationships with educators, representatives of community organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, businesses, nonprofits, and professional associations aligned with the Bank’s outreach and education objectives; • Support Outreach & Education function in planning and managing programs, events and academic competitions; • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at the New York Fed and other Client banks.

Quals--
• Bachelor’s degree in education, economics, social sciences, public policy or related field - Master’s degree a plus; • Minimum three years of classroom teaching experience; K – 12 strongly preferred; • Experience in developing and implementing innovative education programs and curricula; focus on economics or economic literacy a plus; in-depth knowledge of current education and pedagogical approaches in social science preferred; • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain external relationships; • Strong presentation and teamwork skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills; • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of e-learning platforms and delivery a plus.
