You Offer:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering
· Must have 5+ years of experience with production support in Banking/other domains
· Experience in UNIX & Windows environment
· Must have expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and data analysis
· Thorough understanding of supporting batch jobs using Ctrl-M
· Experience supporting web based applications is preferred
· Working knowledge of Snow and AppDynamics is preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Very good analytical and problem solving skills
· Highly motivated & proactive team player, detail oriented and self-driven
 
We Offer:

Business facing support role in Corporate Service Technology group supporting the client critical control room and compliance platform.

Application support analyst to interface with business users to provide analysis, understand issues to provide solutions / resolutions in a timely manner. Support critical & high visibility control room applications, batches and other critical CST applications.
Opportunity to become SME and work in banks' strategic CCRO platform for control room and develop relationship and create visibility with business, development & IT management

Escalate issues when required to ensure timely resolution. Become primary point of contact for reporting, data issues and requests. Engage with IT & business for problem management and to analyze the changes and assess risk for all production releases.
Proactively seek to minimize potential application support problems through root cause analysis, analysis of outputs from aggregated monitoring and diagnostics tool, reviewing knowledge base, understanding the context of incidents across the team.

We provide coverage with follow the sun support model between Raleigh & Singapore and each region manages 12 hours shift. You will be in rotation between morning and evening shift between 8AM-8PM EST. Staff must also be available for some weekend work on production releases, incidents and major events (DR, QMW etc.)
