IT QA Tester - Standard

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
• Knowledge of data testing process and methodologies
• Knowledge of process methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban or Waterfall
• Attention to detail and commitment to Quality
• Self-started and ability to work independently
• Ability to work in multi-team environment and to effectively communicate with project team members
• 3+ years of experience


Technical Skills/Responsibilities:
• Ability to do data and list-pull validations using QA test plans
• Ability to work with functional requirements, QA test plan, QA use cases, user stories and test cases
• Ability to translate functional requirements into QA plan and create test cases
• Ability to create, edit, update moderate SQL statements to perform back end testing in large database
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Knowledgeable in project management tools such as JIRA, Unica Affinium Plan or other

This person will support campaign management activities related to targeted member level communication. Activities will include reviewing various data pulls, changes to the targeting logic, reviewing results against source data and file layouts, validating coding changes related to functional requirements changes, create or update QA documentation.

- Regarding background: person should be able to read and write SQL, should be able and be comfortable working with large data sets, be able to work in RDBS environments, be able to work in structured environment using Agile, waterfall or other methodologies, have data validation experience, have QA / QC experience.

- Regarding years of experience: experience is a product of who we will be able to afford to hire. I would love to get someone with a lot of years of experience I know we will not be able to afford. We've listed 3-5 years hoping we can find that sweet spot between years of experience and hourly rate.
