Sr. Business Process Re-engineering Manager

The SVP of Business Reengineering will be responsible for scoping, directing and managing an improvement/reengineering project within Client Retail Services (CRS) and Branded Cards. The first 12-18 months of this role will be spent directly reviewing business processes in the Cards Collections Forbearance entity and making full recommendations to overhaul the current strategy, processes, and IT Infrastructure.
• Serve as primary liaison with specific functional areas such as IT, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance and the Issues Management team.
• Analyze current Cards business practices and processes, as well as actions within broader Client functions and the industry in general, to identify transformational opportunities.
• Challenge and redesign Cards business practices as needed.
• Engage with functional leaders to develop and implement strategies that improve the ongoing structure.
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze current issues owned by both Risk and Operations in the iCAP environment with recommendations for resolving these; in addition to simplification of the forbearance process.
• Partner with all appropriate support functions to ensure potential concerns are identified and associated risks are mitigated prior to execution.
• Utilize strong project management skills to drive projects to successful and timely conclusion.
• Provide project leadership to cross-functional, matrixed, and geographically diverse resources.
• Provide analysis to justify proposed actions and report on results of implemented initiatives.
• Interface with business, key stakeholders, Reengineering leaders and proactively communicate with Senior leaders.
• Create and deliver executive presentations; accountable for achieving measurable and sustainable operational efficiency results, and consequently, financial benefits.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years' work experience with proven track record in financial services industry
  • Extensive previous experience in Cards businesses, especially in one or more specialized functions, is strongly preferred (Collections knowledge and background preferred).
