AboutWeb is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (SrBA) to lead all aspects of outlining and conceptualization of innovative information technology (IT) solutions that deliver value and enable strategic business initiatives. This includes supporting all strategic planning and business cases, as well as managing schedules and day-to-day activities across programs including business process engineering and enterprise architecture. In coordination with Enterprise Solutions customers, you are accountable for business process mapping, business case writing and development, enterprise architecture and scheduling and tracking status of all ES tasks.

As an integral member of the Enterprise Solutions Team, you will work closely with other Functions and Shared Services teams, including Customer Organizations, Facilities, Physical Security, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Application services, to coordinate new and changing requirements. The SrBA also participates in IT Governance, Demand, and Business Case Development, as well as, Process Mapping for identifying and implementing improved business processes across the enterprise.

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience with a bachelor's degree
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience with knowledge in cost, budgets, and schedules
  • Applies business process improvement and reengineering methodologies to identify and enhance manual and redundant organizational processes and procedures
  • Experience in briefing and interfacing with executive leadership is required
  • Experience writing and justifying business cases to senior leaders
  • Experience process mapping and reporting improvement opportunities
  • Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills and with ability to drive cross-functional teams to action when working in a matrix organization
  • Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly and enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Works closely and effectively within a small to medium-sized multi-disciplined IT team
  • Builds effective relationships with the client to develop the right solutions at the right time
  • Develops current and/or future state business activity, technical, and data models based on defined modeling standards and industry best-practices
  • Assists in establishing enterprise-wide technology product and technical standards to promote reuse, interoperability and cost-savings
  • Supports stakeholder sessions and captures both decisions and context of discussions, and synthesizes the dialogue into meaningful outputs
  • Performs configuration management and version control of critical business and technical documentation or artifacts
  • Provides subject matter expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management, CPIC, IT Governance, SDLC, and ITIL
  • Experience using the following MS Office Suite tools: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Performs additional duties as required
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Ability to perform risk & opportunity analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or technical management
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Experience with MS Visio
  • Clearance Requirements: Must hold, or have held, a Public Trust Security Clearance (or greater) during the past 5 years.
