Job Description: The Trade Execution Technology team is seeking an Analyst/Developer to help establish and grow our strategic Tick Data Analytics platform for Investment Banking division in Credit Suisse. This platform collects live and historical market and transactional data for Equities, Fixed Income and FX businesses globally. We looking for a Programmer/Data Analyst to join our team to help grow our BigData store and build efficient value added analytics for our userbase

Candidates should have prior experience in front office technology roles with a solid understanding of multi-asset trading including Cash, Futures, Options and real-time pricing having worked in delivering stable, reliable and robust IT solutions.

Deliverables/Functions include:
Work with traders to understand and analyze requirements for expanding Tick data platform coverage
Build and enhance time-series data collectors to feed Tick Data platform from a variety of data sources like price feeds, transaction systems etc.
Analysis, normalization and mapping of timeseries data based on business requirements.
Enhance and maintain the platform with focus on data quality and stability
Build Meta Data mining tools to facilitate efficient access, correlation and usage of the data.
Qualifications:

Candidates must have strong application experience in C++ on Linux.

Must have experience with most of the following technologies:
Strong knowledge and working experience in Tick Data domain especially data analysis, normalization.
Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python, Shell scripts etc.
Solid understanding of electronic markets, symbology and pricing behaviours
Proven experience in developing applications that manipulate large dataset with low latency
Hands-on experience with languages like C++ or Java
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of R, Matlab is highly desirable
