Job Description: Role Overview

Design, develop, and maintain the Openlink Endur system for Metals and Energy trading. This is used globally by traders in London, New York, and Singapore for Precious Metals, Base Metals, Oil, Gas and Power trading. The solution is fully integrated with upstream e-Commerce channels and downstream middle and back-office systems. Provide the trade booking and processing, integration with upstream and downstream interfaces, EOD processing, and reporting functionality for the trading desks in NY as part of the NY & London Openlink Endur teams to drive the Endur strategy. Work closely with Commodities IT teams in London, Zurich and Asia to provide a global integrated solution for the various businesses, leveraging the key components already available.

Key Deliverables

Implementation of Openlink Endur projects to sustain and enhance the metals and energy trading capability across the globe. Provide intra-day and EOD functionality - correct EOD processing and calculations for all regions and time zones. Integrate with strategic risk infrastructure work in Commodities IT and across the wider department. Consolidate Endur setup and instance across London, Zurich and New York as much as possible, with a view to consolidating physical instances in the future. Play a key part in a future upgrade of Endur to V10 and take subsequent advantage of V10 functionality to further streamline our implementation.

Qualifications

Required Skills: Openlink Endur experience. Metals or Energy background. Solid programming skills in .NET C#, AVS, and SQL.

Desired Skills: Business Analyst skills on trade booking and processing, cash management, nostro balances, pricing, risk, etc

Personal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in dealing with front office, operations and IT groups. Must be a self-starter and be able to operate independently within a team distributed globally. Highly analytical, pro-active and detail oriented. University degree (BS or above) required in Computer Science. 2+ Years of IT Experience. Financial Derivatives Trading or Financial Services Experience a plus.
