Location: NYC - Midtown

Duration: 1-2 years+

Rate: $810 per day ¿ 8-10 hour professional day (Corp or w2)

 

Dodd Frank ¿ Project Manager

Role Overview:
Lead and manage global team(s) to implement key IT projects for the Credit Suisse¿s General Counsel line of business through successful business partnerships, business case development, and project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Dodd Frank Legal and Compliance mandate(s) for Trade Surveillance: Actimize, and related compliance initiatives and other applications for Suitability, etc. within the Compliance space adhering to the relevant policies, and controls within Credit Suisse.

Key Deliverables:
­ Provide end-to-end program management across various stakeholders
­ Provide project management services when necessary for multiple concurrent project(s) / phases
­ Accountability for program objectives as set by various stakeholders ¿ Compliance, IT, Business, etc.
­ Establish stakeholder and client working relationships within the scope of assigned program / project
­ Senior Stakeholder and management reporting on progress, status, issues and risks
­ Ensure highest quality for projects delivery - On-Time and within Budget
­ Support IT Management with additional tasks on an as-needed basis
­ Prepare necessary documentation as per corporate policy & standards

Qualifications:
­ 10+ years of experience as a Project Management and Client Relationship Management
­ Subject Matter Expert in Compliance Technology, Trade Surveillance, Suitability rules and regulations
­ Experience with Dodd Frank regulations, Compliance Experience with OTC Derivatives / Swaps trade products and associated life cycles
­ Experience working on highly visible Legal & Compliance initiatives
­ Experience with managing program teams across globally
­ Hands-on manager, able to fill in for any project roles as needed
­ Solid understanding of program / project management processes (PMP preferred)
­ Can think and act globally with strong awareness of cross divisional / matrix organization challenges
­ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills
­ People management/leadership skills; have the ability to act as team leader and player
­ Ability to work in a fast paced environment
­ Detail Oriented with excellent communication, and organizational skills
­ University degree or equivalent experience
­ Previous experience in implementing Enterprise Vendor solutions is a plus
­ Previous experience in defining IT Strategy Roadmaps via Application Rationalization is a huge plus
