The role of the Project Manager in Low Latency Operations is to plan, execute, and finalize colocation projects according to the scope defined by business sponsors within an aggressive schedule and budgetary constraints. This includes securing technical resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party vendors, contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
The candidate should be comfortable in managing technology-based projects and should be at ease when collaborating with a variety of resources including technical, business, and management resources. The Project Manager must have experience with technology projects and knowledge of technology trends. The candidate will identify areas for continuous improvement and will work with necessary teams to find more efficient mechanisms to meet requirements.

Consistently execute Low Latency initatives within colocations and internal datacenters:
o Execute and oversee project estimations and the development of project deliverables
o Responsible for managing scope, issues, and action items throughout the project lifecycle
o Identify and manage project issues and set project quality and performance standards
o Assess and manage risk over the project lifecycle

Clearly understand the business objectives, technology and processes beind Low Latency initatives in order to communicate effectively with team members, business sponsors and management.
Ensure transparency of the budget and scope by providing quality reporting within guidelines required by our client from high touch projects.
Develop constructive relationships across Low Latency and our client¿s stakeholders, to ensure overall efficiencies and goals are achieved.
Continue to refine the LL playbook by incorporating lessons learned, contributing to the design of operational capabilities to support new programs, and working closely with LL staff and other cross functional teams
Manage the development and implementation of global cross team initiatives from business case through to implementation and hand-off to operations centers and customers

7-10 years of experience in implementing IT systems in a Financial Environment
A broad business experience with depth of knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: Program Management, Product Management, Project Management, and/or Portfolio Management
Must have the ability to lead cross-discipline, geographically distributed virtual teams, drive to results in ambiguous environments and present to senior levels of management
Influencing skills with teams and negotiation skills with vendors
Ability to work in matrix environment and leading via influence
Experience in application development activities
Excellent knowledge of computer infrastructure and network environments
Proven organizational skills and ability to create structure where lacking
Soft skills and cultural awareness
Client engagement skills
