Main Function

To supply quality Core Infrastructure support, planning and analytical skills to the Bank¿s Wealth Business & Technical areas as a member of the Global Managed File Transfer Support Team

Main Duties

The team is responsible for the 2nd line support and implementation of the global, Managed File Transfer Infrastructure.  The main duties include:-

¿ On call support for Managed File Transfer applications and infrastructure.
¿ Liaise with local and Global Information Risk Management and Operational Integrity departments on latest security issues and threats; ensure always audit-ready state.
¿ To produce standard builds for the Managed File Transfer products, migration and upgrade processes, documentation, test results and alignment with Global Information Security standards and policies

¿ Maintain and manage a large Managed File Transfer Infrastructure Environment via documented ticket stack and on call shift duties.

¿ Involvement in Architecture strategy
¿ Managing lifecycle management on a large scale

¿ Incident, Problem and Change management of all Core Infrastructure within the global CIBWIM estates

Person Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

5 years + experience in a financial institution working in a senior IT support and or engineering role within a large-scale enterprise infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience with engineering, deploying and supporting complex environments and applications. Position requires hands-on technical skills, with an emphasis on troubleshooting.

Experienced with File Transfer based application running on Linux/Solaris/AIX and Windows Server environments.

Basic knowledge of Linux/Solaris/AIX and Windows Server OS command sets and shell level scripting.

Experience of maintaining a large File Transfer Infrastructure in an enterprise financial institution.

Experience with supporting various File Transfer Protocol or Data Transfer Protocol based applications. Good technical knowledge (experience preferred) in:

Demonstrates basic competencies for Network and Connectivity protocols specifically HTTP(S), FTP(S), SFTP, SSH, SCP, NDM, Connect:Direct, EBICS.

 Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows

Experience of DMZ infrastructures.

Managed PKI 

Experience with supporting complex File Transfer or Web Server java based environments and applications on the above platforms.

Experience with change and production control procedures in a large environment.

Capable of clear and effective written and verbal communication

Team Leadexperience is advantageous, but candidate will require hands-on technical skills, with an emphasis on troubleshooting.

Knowledge of Load Balancing and basic network connectivity concepts and designs. Practical application of TCP/IP and switched/routed networks.

Experienced Server based administration for application servers either running on Sun Solaris, RedHat Linux or Windows OS.

Knowledge of tiered infrastructures and levels of DMZ networks

Capacity and Performance monitoring of a large file transfer or data transfer environment.

Basic understanding of database technologies

Experience with SSH and PKI key infrastructures for authentication and file / data transfers
