Home Health Account Coordinator
Job Summary
The Home Care Account Coordinator is responsible to coordinate and maintain scheduling for United Home Health Care clients and staff. Manage accounts with different clients, coordinate with staff and provide support to Accounting and Payroll.
Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Understands and adheres to established United Home health Care policies and procedures.
  2. Regularly meeting with clients and provide account management details.
  3. Creates and maintains staff schedules.
  4. Provides staffing for clients and patient visits and represent our staffing services.
  5. Understand the home health staff availability and provide scheduling to home health providers.
  6. Enters scheduling data, creates schedules.
  7. Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
  8. Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans.
  9. Enters staff and client information into database.
  10. Make recruiting calls for additional home health staff and provide information to them about our services. Provide hiring and on-boarding services.
  11. Maintains staff and client statistics, and reports. Report to management with the details on weekly basis.
  12. Maintains call – in and retention report.
  13. Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services
Qualifications and Skills
  1. H.S. Diploma or GED.
  2. CNA or previous experience working in home health company.
  3. Prior scheduling experience preferred.
  4. Experience working with nurses and therapist
  5. Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
  6. Basic medical terminology.
  7. Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  8. Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
  9. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

Required education:
  • High school or equivalent
Required experience:
  • Home Health Scheduling: 1 year
Required license or certification:
  • CNA/STNA, LPN preferred.
