Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of lab experience (in industry). Experience with chromatographic instrumentation and related data systems or ICP is preferred. Must be able to learn and use a LIMS system and be comfortable using common PC software applications such as Word and Excel. Position involves regular route of collecting samples throughout large brewery from different brewing materials/brewing processes which involves carrying lab equipment (approx. 10- 15 lbs.), at times having to bend/stoop in areas that may be damp, confined, and have strong odors (i.e., barley and hops), and returning to lab to conduct routine chemistry lab techniques on samples.

Responsibilities:
Will assist product development group with making standards, dilutions and creating samples. May also assist in aspects of pilot and production testing. Will be asked to prepare and/or analyze beverage samples for a variety of chemical parameters using established methodologies. The successful candidate will have flexibility and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, willingness to help team when needed, strong communication skills, able to be on feet for long periods of time, consistent and detailed in chemistry laboratory functions. Must have steel-toed boots upon starting position training, and degree in Chemistry.
