These positions are responsible for the administration of automated applications systems to support the business needs of the organization as well as provide support of assigned applications. This includes review and analysis of user functions and activities, monitoring and correction of current systems, and the testing of appropriate programs or related systems as required. This position works with users, management and others to identify and define long- and short-range business application systems requirements.
  • Perform all aspects of systems administration, including writing required scripts, testing and evaluating new processes and implementation of new versions of applications.
  • Provide training and support to the user community as necessary to accomplish daily activities.
  • Provide assistance to application staff and end users in researching application errors.
  • Monitor and respond to assigned help desk cases.
  • Identify problems and develop appropriate solutions or work-arounds to maintain business continuity.
