Summary:
  • 50% Testing, 50% Troubleshooting, supporting, writing requirements.
Below are areas that the contractor will ultimately be responsible for:
  • Mainframe Day/Overnight Job Stream Monitoring – On Call
  • Add To Pay Loads – Earnings and Deductions
  • MS Access Knowledge
  • General Deduction Loads/Support
  • PeopleSoft Payroll Configuration – Earn Codes, Deduction Codes, GL Accounts, Adjustment Run Calendars, ADP W2 Company Data, Payroll Calendars, Tax Location Codes, Tax Tables, etc.
  • ADP – Tax, Print and Garnishment Release Review, Test, Validation, Implementation in coordination with Payroll and Technology
  • Oracle Tax A – E Review, Test, Validate, Implement in coordination with Payroll Tax and Technology
  • Support Payroll with Quarterly Adjustment Runs and Coordinate Calendar of Events with Technology
  • Facilitate Bi-Weekly HRIS/Payroll Meetings
  • Knowledge of PS Query Payroll/Benefits/HCM Tables
  • Support Payroll Running Existing PS Queries
  • Knowledge of writing and executing Test Scripts
  • Year End: 401K Limits, Pension Indicators, Balances, United Way
TOP MUST HAVES:
  • Experience with mainframes and ability to run/pull reports, testing, configuration, etc. – 3-5 years
  • HRIS Payroll knowledge – supporting payroll (bi-weekly, weekly payroll), payroll cycles, tax updates, etc. from a testing, configuration, requirements gathering perspective – 3-5 years
  • PeopleSoft Experience - within payroll, time & labor preferred
  • Desire to learn, and quickly, new technologies, process, etc. and retain information
  • Configuration experience - preferably within Payroll and time & labor
