Client is seeking a Software Developer to provide application development support to the Office of Information Systems (SI) within the Client.
The Software Developer will work in a team environment to develop and enhance code for Client's software application framework to be utilized by development teams. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
  • Areas of application development may include, at a minimum:
    • Implement design considerations for application development framework.
    • Develop windows services for long running and asynchronous tasks.
    • Business work flow and forms development.
    • Overall design and code review of applications for constancy and adherence to standards.
    • Provide input into organization's application development tools and testing procedures.
    • Database migration activities.
    • Application demonstrations and training (as needed).
    • Support for application deployment.
    • Security and application performance optimization.
    • Implementation of modern UI frameworks.
  • Daily utilization and demonstration of strong experience with Agile development methodologies.
Non-Essential Duties:
  • Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Minimum of 15 years of web development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of ASP.NET C# MVC based web development experience using Visual Studio 2008 or higher.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • An active Secret Clearance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience as a developer in a software environment that supported more than 3,000 users and a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) with more than 250 tables and 1 million total rows.
  • Experience in at least 1 software development environment with a minimum of 1,000 automated unit tests.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
